In light of the ever-growing media coverage we would like to reassure our customers that we are closely monitoring the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19). In our efforts to put at ease any worries our customers may have, we will be following the advice provided by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).
It is worth highlighting that when travelling overseas, you may experience an increase in monitoring and preventative measures related to Coronavirus. This is particularly prevalent in Asia. Currently, a number of airports have introduced passenger screening to proactively manage the virus and onward transmission, alongside some hotels. This can only be seen as a positive step in reducing the risk to travellers. While our partners across the globe are also helping to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information.
Our customers’ health and safety remains our top priority when making any decisions related to Coronavirus and our tailor-made holidays for 2020.
The epicentre of the outbreak is now in Europe, where there are an increased number of confirmed cases, especially in France, Italy, Spain and the UK. We are keeping fully up-to-date with the developments and adhering to FCO and UK Public Health guidance.
We are in the process of reviewing all worldwide holidays departing until the end of June. All our European and worldwide tailor-made holidays departing from July onwards are continuing as planned. Any changes to the current situation will be communicated directly to our customers and updated on our website.
The FCO currently advises against all but essential travel to many destinations throughout Europe and beyond.
